Sunandita is an experienced and a trained Counselling Psychologist with a specialisation in working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. Over 8 years, Sunandita has developed a holistic approach for working towards the development of children and she focusses on strengthening parent-child bond – as being their central to child development, hence enabling communication and growth by helping parents cultivate the right skills with the aim of providing a caring, safe and nutureing environment for their child .

In practice she specialises in addressing Intra-Personal as well as Inter-Personal concerns along with enhancing Life-Skills. She completed her MSC in Psychology from (Essex, UK) and a certified course in Child and Adolescent Mental health.

To facilitate “Children and Adolescent” optimal development Sunandita, works on building stronger inner strength, a positive self belief and confidence. Creating and planning customised interventions for concerns like managing emotions- anger management, positive peer interactions, developing personal responsibility and decision making skills, developing academic skills and learning styles to name a few; is what drives Sunandita in her work.
With adults, she works with concerns like family and personal relationships, group dynamics, dealing with change, work life balance, stress management and efficiency optimisation.

She has also worked with a number of educational institutes like KeshavMahavidyalaya, KendriyaVidyalaya, Kumon- educational network, Pragati Max School, Dreaming Child School, and Scottish High International School, providing support to them to cope with challenges related to mental well-being, extreme emotions, distressed relationships, life skills enhancement, etc. using a range of psychotherapeutic concepts of counselling and tools of positive psychology.
